For this composition I purposely focused my camera on the white poppy and blurred the bluebonnets in the background. This technique is called selective focus.

While in Marble Falls Texas, we stopped at this location in Texas Hill Country to capture bluebonnets which is the state flower of Texas.

The incredible sunny blue skies and wispy clouds added a this bluebonnet landscape.

Fredericksburg Texas has a historic place called the Pioneer Museum. If you are a history buff like myself, it is well worth a trip. You get to learn how the Weber family lived back in the day of wagon travel.

Fredericksburg Texas has many eateries. The Buffalo Nickel Bar was one that we decided to try and glad that we did. The Reuben Sliders with cheese and Russian dressing were delicious!

The River Walk in San Antonio Texas is a must do when visiting the area. In this image, I composed the photo using the red flowers and tree as a frame.

The San Fernando Mission Church in San Antonio Texas is absolutely amazing both inside and out. I have never seen such a Gothic feel church before. 

You cannot visit San Antonio Texas without visiting the Alamo. Did you know that the walls are 4 feet thick? It is free to tour the inside, but no photographs are allowed to be taken inside this historic place.
