Georgetown Steam Train crossing the Devil's Gate Bridge

As a vintage railroad photographer, I try to photograph as many steam train places as I am able. This was the first time I rode on the Georgetown Railroad. After our ride, we waited for the locomotive to cross the bridge. It was so worth the wait, especially since our ride was the last of the night and we didn't know if the train would cross the bridge or not. *I have a 11x17 glossy metal print of this image for sale. Crossing the Devil's Gate Bridge at the Georgetown Railroad

Yes, those are raindrops that you see over to the right. While we were riding this beautiful railroad in the opened car when rain drops began to fall. Just a drizzle at first. By the time we arrived at the next station stop, it was pouring.

While walking the streets in Old Colorado City, I came across this old rail car.

Pike's Peak Cog Rail at 14,230 Elevation

While riding on the Pike's Peak Cog Rail, I spent a few moments capturing the rail car along with some stunning views.

You cannot go any further than the end of the line. Watch that last step as it's a big one.

Strasburg Rail Road's Great Train Race

Keeping the aged look and feel, I used a enhancing filter to add to the glory days effect. The best print size is 10x20. * I have a framed 20x10 print of this image. It is matted in white and framed in a black rounded style. Message me for more info.

While out and about one day in Strasburg, PA, 3 Amish boys came along.

Strasburg Rail Road in Full Steam

It wasn't foggy or snowing when this image was captured. Full steam was blowing in and around the steam engine. A white vignette was added in post processing. I sold one metal print, one 16x20 canvas wrap, and several greeting cards of this image.

At the end of 2017 and during a light snow fall, I ventured to the Strasburg Rail Road for a few train photos. Approaching the main area the engineers were letting out the white steam. It made an interesting photo.

Upon my arrival on Esbenshade Road, I was greeted by steam engine 90 and the engineer "posing" for a photo.

Black & White Vintage Strasburg Rail Road

While at the SRR one afternoon, I captured this image of the opposite side that seems to get very little attention. In post processing, I used Lightroom's black and white filters to get that vintage feel.
